greg betts is a cool guy. he teaches this very cool course. when he surveyed his students, he learned that 98% of them had never read a canadian poem. i chaperoned the semi-formal on thursday night, and it was the easiest supervision i’ve ever done.
no drinking, no drugs, no fights- heck, i didn’t even see a messy breakup.
just 150 kids dancing their faces off.
it was pretty beautiful. reminded me why i cross the city each day to work with these kids.

this has been a great but crazy busy week.
at least I feel a bit more settled and the classes are in the group routines- so papers aren’t going missing.
